"I used to use the Withings Body Scan, but it broke in 2 months So now I bought this new scale. Wow this new one is really great. These scales are a lot cheaper than the withings body scan. The accuracy on it are much more accurate and measure far many more body parameters It can even tell that I'm right handed because it was able to measure more muscle mass on my right arm. The best part is that it can measure my body water percentage which I was wondering about. I would definitely recommend this product. Hopefully it will be more durable than the Withings Body Scan."
Easy to use
I've had a few different "smart" scales including another one that uses bioelectrical impedance but this is the first home scale I've had that's offered the handle, similar to the scales I've used in Dr. Offices and fitness facilities in the past. The numbers on the scale are bright and easy to read although, taking in the bulk of the information by looking down at the scale isn't the greatest. To get the best from this though, you're going to want to use the app. On the iPhone side, it syncs with Apple Health meaning that in addition to being able to read and track info directly in the app, that information also automatically flows into the health app where it can be used along with other inputs (like an apple watch) to combine measurements and help add to overall tracking which includes exercise - all great stuff.

This has been a game-changer for my health and fitness journey. As someone who values data-driven insights and convenience in tracking progress, this smart scale has been awesome in every way. The setup process was incredibly easy. You just need to follow the steps, which is, by the way, not a book; it's one simple page that tells you all you need, and in less than 10 minutes, everything is set up. There are additional instructions included, but all I needed was this page (I attached a pic of it). The Hume Health app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices, seamlessly synced with the scale, providing me with a comprehensive dashboard to track various health metrics. Here's what I did to get it up and running: First, you scan the QR code using your camera, which lets you download the app. It�s free, by the way, not like others where you have to pay for it. Once you open the app, you register, and this is an important step to add your height and info about yourself. Then, allow the app to access your Bluetooth. Once you are done, you turn on your scale (charge it first for 2 hours); your scale connects to your app. Now, the most fun part: Stand up and hold the handle on the scale as it shows in the pictures and see the magic numbers. One of the standout features of this smart scale is its ability to measure more than just weight. With advanced bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology, it accurately measures body composition metrics such as body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone density, and more. This holistic approach to tracking health provides a more complete picture of my progress beyond just weight alone. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BODY in one simple step!!! I am a board-certified internist as well as medical oncologist, and have a deep interest with issues of obesity. And I am a firm believer in biomarkers that act as telltales to indicate the state of health of patients. This scale measures multiple parameters and allows the user or a number of users to track their findings over time with charts. The app works on either iPhone or iPad and perhaps other devices as well. I have used this scale for approximately two weeks and find no issues that warrant anything less than a five star review.
